My favourite #melbourne tradition is how on the last day they open for the season, Pascoe Vale pool invites the local dogs to come for a swim. It might have been the happiest place in the city today. Absolutely worth getting soaked by a rainstorm for. They were such good doggos

y'all... I love Odin so much. Seeing him happy and healthy and safe makes me so happy that I cry. I could never commit to motherhood due to my persistent health issues. The first few months of Odin's life were incredibly hard on me, which just reinforces that I'm in no position to raise a baby, but we got through it and :blobsob: :blobsob: :blobsob: I love him :blobsoothed:

It was Kengo's spa day. He got all clean, nails ground, teeth brushed, and got a teal bandana.
The forecast storm is still away, but wind has picked up. We're staying home today, and it's supposed to be clear by sunrise tomorrow, then we'll go out.

Good morning, friends ☕ ☕ 💞 💞 🐕 🐕

the last couple of days there have been sprinkles of rain and after a bone dry winter this is very welcome indeed. Wrong timing for a good wildflower bloom, but we'll take it whenever it comes.

Good morning. ⛈️🌩️⚡

15 March 2025

Thunder crashed, shaking the house and jolting me from a deep sleep. It happened right at six, the time I usually wake up. Was it mere coincidence, or do gods conspire to control my days? After brushing my teeth and pulling on my trousers, I opened the bedroom door to find Ben waiting, alone. Clearly, he was frightened by the thunder, seeking the comfort and reassurance of our steadfast companionship. But where was Charlie? He almost always greets me at the bedroom door in the morning. I found him at the back door, anxiously waiting to go outside. The morning urge to relieve oneself is, after all, a biological necessity shared by both dogs and humans.

Anyone have recommendations for some light-hearted, non-political ActivityPub accounts to follow? I want to try and turn my homepage into something enjoyable and fun to scroll through. Listed below are some tags for personal interests.
