A regressive #ArtvsArtist of my work, to summarize some of my fave pieces and offer a perspective of my range. These are 2024 to 2021, four intense years where I focused on learning some side skills and kind of found my foot. Sadly, also tumultuous years that made me step aside a bit from crafting (against my will) and prioritize other things right now, still in hopes of coming back in some years

Easiest #artvsartist of my life, only 4 projects... My regular job consumes lots of energy and even though I knew this year'd mean a creative slump, it still makes me sad to see it captured in an image. But I'm proud of the things I tried, tested, learned and achieved, and I will spend next year doing some of the same. I wish living as an artisan was easier but I have a lot to sort out first: it's a long-distance race and I have patience

Hello everyone, it's my first day here! I feel like this #ArtvsArtist2024 post sums up a lot of what I'm about. Silly stuff, bright colors, cute animals (like Penn State's mascot!), and big feelings. My art is big and vibrant because sometimes I feel small and sad, and I want to make myself -- and everyone else -- smile. I'm hoping to find a community of like-minded people and return to that indie non-corporate-owned blog vibe here. Much love!

I noticed that this account had the Art vs Artist meme pinned since 2022, so I decided to make #ArtVsArtist2024 and refresh the pin.

This year has been kind of weak for me, both in terms of art and in general, but I did end up moving on with my bf, which is very nice.

I thought I would have a problem picking drawings for this meme since I didn't draw much this year, but it was much easier to pick artworks this time around since I experimented with colors other than purple 🤦‍♀️

Picking a photo of myself was a real challenge this year, but I went with the one my bf took for me!
