It was a nice day outside, cool but sunny, so Gardening Was Engaged In.

1. The Damsel is still tiny, and the Dame Elisabeth Murdoch variety is not noted for sturdy roots, but she is enjoying her new home in a 50 cm pot. I'm hoping she will flourish.

2. Nobody wanted Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum, but they too are doing well.

3. A cluster of Chinesis and Bougainvillea cuttings. Their future is unwritten.

4. Our #cat, Penny, investigates the vegetable bins.

The Damsel, a cutting from our Dame Elisabeth Murdoch hybrid tea. She is appreciating her new home in a much larger pot. A very small, bloomless rose growing in a large expanse of red mulch in a clay pot. New leaves are opening.
